How duration changes the daily rate
CarNet displays separate daily rate bands for 1-6, 7-13, 14-29 and 30+ day bookings. Longer bookings currently receive the lowest displayed daily rate for each vehicle.
Use the vehicle pages to compare the exact rate band, then request a live quote for your dates. A displayed rate is not a reservation or guarantee of availability.
Choose for the whole rental, not one trip
For a longer booking, consider your regular passenger count, parking, luggage, work requirements and planned travel. A compact car can be easier and less expensive, while an SUV or people mover may be more practical when capacity is used often.

Common questions
Long-term Sydney car rental FAQs
What is CarNet's cheapest displayed 30+ day rate?
The MG3 private-use rate is currently displayed from $22 per day for bookings of 30 days or more, subject to availability and the full rental terms.
Can I extend a long-term rental?
Ask CarNet before the agreed return time. An extension depends on vehicle availability, updated dates, payment and confirmation of the revised rental agreement.
Is long-term rental the same as a lease?
No. A rental remains governed by its rental agreement and confirmed booking period. Compare flexibility, total cost, use conditions and ownership responsibilities before choosing.
